Heiligenhafen - Großenbrode
At the very tip of the Bay of Lübeck, on the Peninsula, between the port of Heiligenhafen and the island of Fehmarn is the Baltic resort Grossenbrode.
In the northwest of the Grossenbrode inland lake is the well protected communal and sports marina Grossenbrode.
Ample parking, sanitary facilities, Wi-Fi and sewage disposal are available. The floating docks provide electricity and water connections. Sailors will be find a well stocked shop directly in the port area. Only 6 km away in Heiligenhafen there are supermarkets, specialty shops, restaurants, doctors ans pharmacies.
Grossenbrode is a cozy harbor set apart from tourist bustle with an almost private atmosphere.

The wind conditions in the summer months are ideal for sailing. There are rarely strom winds. If there are storms, the leeside land of the East Holstein coast offers protection against rough seas.
Rostock - Warnemünde
To the north of the Hanseatic city of Rostock is the seaside resort of Warnemuende. The international seaport of Rostock and the marina "Hohe Düne" are located on the east side of the warnow estuary.
Every summer the 'Hanse Sail' and the 'Warnemünde Week' are held here. Thousands of sailors from more then 20 nations and millions of tourists are regularly attracted to these big events.
There are many reasons that the Baltic around Rostock has an international reputation for excellence. The Coast has very few fissures and the waterhas a safe and even depth.
As you sail along the coast towards Kühlungsborn or Rerik you can admire the endless white sand beaches and the classical facades of the Baltic Sea resort of Heiligendamm, the "white Town by the Sea".
Rostock-Warnemünde offers sailing trips on the outer coast west towards Kühlungsborn or east to Darß. Skippers bearing east should keep in mind that there are no docking facilities for approximately 60 nautical miles.
From Rostock you can sail directly to Denmark or on a wider course to Rügen or Hiddensee.
